2 Activities and Achievements: Popularizing Science and Technology amount youths through out-of-school activities e.g field trips, excursion, drama, playlets, songs,career talks and debates. Organizing workshops,conferences for children,youths, researchers,policy makers,educators and educationists. Show casing professionals, female scientists as role models through talk shops to motivate girl children. Encouraging self employment and self-reliance through training sessions on applications of S& T using Resource persons Increase in No of students reading S & T based courses Increase in No of self employed persons. Improvement in Scientific literacy

4 Activities and Achievements: Organizing Workshops and Conferences in Science and Technology for children ,youths and researchers. Popularizing S and T through out of school activities such as excursions,field trips, Science Grottos,drama,playlets, songs. Showcasing professionals, scientists as role models through Career talks,Counsellingand Motivational talks. Children and youths are being motivated to read science and technology based courses.There is an increase in their number especially girls. Self employment and self-reliance after graduation are encouraged.

12 Activities and Achievements: The International Training Workshop of Scientific Data Sharing in Hindu Kush-Himalaya for Developing Countries was held in Beijing, China, from November 4-23, 2013. It's funded by Bureau of International Co-operation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and organized by Information Sharing Center for Earth System Science, State Key Lab of Resources and Environmental Information System, Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research (IGSNRR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). This training workshop was invited 20 participants from different organizations of 8 countries and over 30 China and international renowned experts as training lecturers to sharing working experiences in eight chapters, including International data sharing, National and Earth platform, policy and specification, data citation and publication, data sharing technology, geographic information technology, data processing and model, and e-Science.
